ok here are all my photos of my new jewelery. I am always looking for something really different in jewelery and something that appeals to my hippy boho style so I decided to try making some. These are the results, please tell me what you think. Playing with fabric is fun and I do love to add a little metallic shine too. I think if anything where to some up my style it would be these.
This headband is stretchy and a perfect fit and actually stays put. This is usually a problem for me as I have really think hair and need a good supportive headband.
This main piece here was made by wrapping pipe cleaners with silks, fabric and wires and then adding beads.

I made this so that it could be a belt or head scarf. It has long straps so it would fit most sizes.

I love this necklace made with silks and beautiful metallic threads and beads.

This chunky necklace was made by wrapping a huge bead with fibers etc and joining the ends with wire.

This is a set of 5 bangles made from silks, fibers, metallic threads and beads.

All of these pieces will be going into my etsy shop. I have been thinking I may change my shop to an accessories shop and concentrate on making these things only.I am closing the shop to make some changes and will re-open after Christmas as life is extremely busy at the moment.
My mum is heading down this afternoon for the weekend and we are going Christmas shopping tomorrow. I love shopping with my mum ;) So I better get off the computer and clean my house.
Take care

Kids sleeping means.....
I had a little time for some scrapbooking.
I made these two too small, can't really see all the details.Click to enlarge them. I had fun with some new stamps on this one.

Throughout all these next two are a lot of products from my Qtea kits.

Actually for the last few days both my girls have been sick with a gastro bug and it has not been fun for any of us. I camped out in the lounge with them and lots of towels and buckets. Poor babies. Lucy is ok now think, just tired. Georgina was still trowing up this morning but seem sto have perked up a bit now. Yesterday they literally slept all day so I sat at the table and scrapbooked all day. I managed 4 layouts before I was called into the lounge with little cries for help. :(
If the girls are well tomorrow we are heading to the Ooze festival, should be fun.My friend will have some snakes on show for Reptile rescue (she volunteers for them) and I really hope to hold one, will show pictures for sure. I am not scared of snakes but show me a spider and yikes I'm out of there.
It is our wedding anniversary tomorrow. We have been married 3 years (together almost 15).
Take care.

Design team projects
Deanna from Craft4less has added my design team projects to the site so now I can share. The supplies I was given to work with were - fibers, stick on jewels, felt, wire, magic paper clay, and beads. So these are what I came up with. I am using my photos of them as on the site you can't see the details as well (so sorry if that sounded rude) All red highlighted products are available at Craft4less. Find my projects here
Art doll made entirely of magic paper clay, seed beads, fibers and felt.
Scrapbook page made with magic paper clay, stick on jewels and fibers.
Photos of gorgeous peacock strutting his stuff was taken on our recent trip to Launceston Gorge.
Brooch made from magic paper clay, seed beads and felt.
Christmas advent book made with felt and fibers. Each page has little felt numbered pockets where I will be hiding treats for the girls on the count down to Christmas day.
Mushrooms made from magic paper clay. I coated them with dimensional magic for shine.
Dolls hat made for Lucy's dolly from finger knitted fibers and felt.
I had fun with the products and making a variety of craft items, The doll, mushrooms and brooch will be added to my etsy shop when they arrive home.
I am feeling so creative at the moment and I finally have a full day tomorrow to make art and I am soooo happy, my Lucy will quite happily be sitting up with creating her gorgeous scrapbook pages that she loves so much. I will be back for the promised pictures.
Take care.

clay embellishments.....
on etsy.
I am stocking my shop with some handmade polymer clay embellishments. They are all different and I'll be adding some handmade/painted clay faces later today. These can be used to decorate your own art dolls and crafts.

I also have some mini journals made with altered photos from my art works, something a little different and some fabric jewelery (this I love) can't wait to share this and a matching fabric belt made with silks, metallic threads and beads.
I am off to a family reunion today. My mum is one of 13 children and I have over 40 cousins. Not sure how many people will turn up but it will be fun meeting every ones kids and catching up. It's a shame my mum can't make it but I will have 2 of my brothers and their kids there with me. Should be interesting ;) We have a very warm day for it anyway.
I can share my design team projects shortly as Deanna from Craft4less is adding them to my gallery on the site now.
Take care.

Today I will be.......
turning my computer off for a whole week, how many of you think you can do this? lol I know it will hard but I am doing it because
a.) Georgina has been complaining of headaches and eye pain/floaties. I don't know whats going on there but she does spend a lot of time on the computer and reading so I am giving her a weeks break and then taking her for an eye test. And
b.) well I do just spend so much time reading about other peoples crafts when I should be doing my own. I have got a lot of things put aside to fill up my Etsy shop but haven't gotten around to photographing them yet. So I will be spending the week taking lots of pictures and finishing off some crafts and doing some stuff around home. It really is time to start sorting out my priorities and taking some time out for me, my studies have taken a turn for the worse and my books sit and stare at me from my room everytime I walk past lol.
Anyway I won't go on to much, I am turning off my computer now' I am really I know I can do it ;). I will be checking my email on hubbies computer though.
Take care
