Well things have been busy again or is that still ;) Martin and I had been given new prescriptions for reading glasses a little while back and we finally did something about getting them. This is first time glasses for Martin but not for me and the pair I chose this time a bit nicer than my old ones and they do help. What we don't like is the bill that came with them, we were about $500 out of pocket after our rebate from our health fund grrr. Oh well we do need them. They are metallic red with blue handles, very cool. What do you think?? about the glasses I mean not how tired I look lol
I don't have a photo of Martin in his as he wouldn't let me near him but I think he looks great.
I found some photos of some dolls I made recently and I only posted pictures of a couple as I had sent some off to other people, 2 went off to Dot for a swap we had. Anyway here they are.

I have made a couple new necklaces. One which took 5 minutes and another which I really like.

I have spent all of today scrapbooking and I have heaps of pages to photograph and share and the start of a rug I am making out of plated fibres, its full of yummy texture and colour.
Must get back to my pages, inspiration in the form of yummy paper from the Hobart craft fair is calling me :)
Take care

Belinda, your new glasses are nice - they suit you. Isn't it awful what we have to pay for glasses? I wear mine all the time and it costs me over $500 CDN everytime I have to get a new pair.
My hubby needs one strength for reading and a different one for distance. Fortunately, he doesn't need them too strong so he buys all his glasses at the Dollar Store ($1 a pair). Just as well because he keeps losing or breaking them. If he had to replace his glasses as frequently as he does with expensive prescription glasses, we'd be in the poor house. :(
Your new glasses look great Belinda - I love the shape. I wear glasses too so know exactly what you mean about the cost!
I love your dolls - the faces are exquisite!
Your new glasses are gorgeous Belinda! They really suit the shape of your face. I wear glasses too so know how expensive they can be.
Big hugs to you and your girls.

P.S I forgot to mention how much I LOVE the dolls you made for me. They are so beautiful and unique. Will treasure them forever.
Love the necklaces you made too.

Hi Belinda - I'm definitely interested in doing another swap with you. I'm really busy until around July 27th. Anytime after that when it's convenient for you we can decide.
Cheers
Inga
Oops - used the wrong ID in my previous comment - should have been Cotton Picker. :)
