Scrapbooking & Interior design....

Hi today I thought I'd share some scrapbooking pages with you. I don't share them a lot as I always seem to forget and share all my other crafts lol. I am finding that lately I want to scrapbook more and journal more about what's going on in our lives. Some of course are very personal but some others I will share with you.

I love this photo of Lucy in the bath, I altered this one to make her very blue eyes stand out more. She looks in this photo what she is, a very cheeky funny girl.

My scrapbooking style changes with every layout I do. I don't normally do girly flowers but this one called for it, lots of velvet and bling.

I love this layout of Lucy and my mum's cat Rusty. He was inherited to me from my favourite Auntie who died when Lucy was born but my cat Sibel hated him so my mum took him to live in the bush. Rusty loves chasing the chooks and he is now going on 14 years old and is a great lazy fat thing. I used lots of fantasy film and sequin negatives in this one. I also did some hand stitching. I love stitching on my pages and I think I use my sewing machine more with paper than I do fabric these days.

Ok I think I'll leave in there today I will share more later on.

I forgot to mention that I am now studying at home. My course is Interior Design. To say I am loving it is an understatement. There is so much more to interior design than making a room look pretty and I am so excited about future projects for my home. This course is by correspondence and will take 18 months to complete and when Lucy starts full time school I am going to go back to school myself and study a higher level of design. I have my work cut out for me but with planning and time management I know I can do it, plus next year I will have 2 whole days a week to study whilst Lucy is at Kinder. I have completed my first assignment and eagerly wait for my results. Right now is a great time to study in Tassie as it is soooo cold, better to stay in door ;)

Take care
