Horse riding...

Well we took our girl horse riding and boy did she love it. We were so surprised how well she went. She was led around on a dear old horse called Patch up through bush land and back to a show ring where she was given a lesson and then was allowed to ride by her self. She made Patch stop, start, turn left and right and go back down the track and back to the stables. She caught on so quickly and was full of confidence. Back at the stable they let Lucy up on Patch to see if she would like it and wow talk about a grin from ear to ear. Next time (there will be a next time) we will let Lucy have a go and Martin and I are going to learn too so we can go on family trail rides. It's so exciting as I really could never imagine myself up on a horse let alone riding one by myself :)

Look at this happy little girl, I think we have found her new passion. Oh and isn't Patch just so handsome.

We took both the girls for flu shots today and they will go for the 2nd one in a months time. They were very good and neither of them cried. My turn next.

Well I have been scrap booking up a storm and cleaning up some supplies but each time I sort through something I find more inspiration to do more creating not cleaning. So needless to say I haven't really done much cleaning ;) I will take some photos tomorrow and share. My mum was here for the weekend so we were kept busy shopping etc. As mum lives in the bush she does not get to the shops much so we do what we can when she is down, who does not like shopping? Although I always seem to come home with bags of stuff for Goergina and Lucy and not me unless of course we go to the craft shop (5 minutes down the road ;)

This afternoon I took Georgina to the movies to see Hannah Montana, she is a huge fan and it was nice to spend some time alone together. The movie wasn't too bad either. It is School holidays here and Georgina gets 3 weeks off. She will go into hospital on the 15th of June so we will fit what we can into the holidays now. I am going to document Georgina's progress with Cerebral Palsy on my blog as I know it may help other people and so we can show her later. I keep having dreams that she is going to be allergic to the Botox and they wont ever be able to help her and her legs will become deformed. My god I know that is crazy and the chance of that happening is extremly rare and of course they would operate instead. But you how it is being a parent you think the worst and I have never been accused of being an optimist but I am learning :)

I will leave it hear and continue cleaning/scrapping lol

Take care

What gorgeous photo's Belinda! Georgina looks very pleased with herself. Lovely that she had a fun day with Patch. And it sounds as if Lucy is hooked too!
Will keep Georgina in my thoughts for June 15. Can understand you being concerned - you are a very loving and special mum.
I am sending you my love and support.

Hi Belinda I came by your blog via Dot's blog.
I know how you must have felt when you took your daughter horse riding because we took our grand daughter horde riding for her 9th birthday and we thought her face was going to split in half with happiness.
I hope everything works out on the 15th.
